Cyberattack on UAE banks

Did you know? Following the recent DDoS attacks by Anonymous Sudan on First Abu Dhabi Bank and UAE Pass, another threat actor has launched a cyberattack on the banking sector in the UAE. Hacker group Mysterious Team Bangladesh has asserted responsibility for the disruption of the websites belonging to Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and the National Bank of Fujairah.

According to Falcon Feeds, a threat intelligence service, the website of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank experienced an outage around 11 pm UAE time on May 24th. Concurrently, the Mysterious Team Bangladesh Twitter account stated that the National Bank of Fujairah's website was also affected during the same time frame.
